Celebrate Our Donors

Get Involved

Saving and enhancing lives starts with you.

Make a difference and change lives. There is so much you can do.

Register as an organ, eye and tissue donor

Understand how donation works and register as a donor. When you do, you’ve taken a powerful action to change lives. Talk to your family and friends about your decision.

We’re always looking for committed people to help share the donation message and encourage others to register as organ, eye and tissue donors. Learn more about how you can make a difference by volunteering as a Gift of Hope Ambassador.

So many opportunities are available to educate and answer questions. Contact organizations and leaders in your community. Help provide presentations. Share your story and the donation message on social media or at community events. Gift of Hope can provide facts, figures and success stories of people like:

  • Steve Ferkau, who received a lifesaving lung transplant from Kari, a teenage who tragically died and became a donor. Steve has organized a team of advocates for donation who climb the 94 floors of the Hancock Building in Chicago each year in Kari’s honor.
  • Shawn Harrington, who explains how his mother helped saved three lives after her death through organ donation.

Make a monetary donation

Perhaps you don’t have time or unable to volunteer. Instead, make a difference by giving a monetary donation. Your tax-deductible gift of any amount will directly benefit our mission and programs to save and enhance the lives of others.
