The humanitarian gift of organ and tissue donation unites people across diverse faith traditions, offering the gift of life and healing to those in need.
Compassion in action through organ donation
Compassion and generosity are at the heart of most faiths. Be it Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, or Buddhist, organ and tissue donation resonates with the call to support and care for others. Together, we can bring hope and healing to countless lives, honoring our shared commitment to love and serve one another.
Faith communities that educate others on their tradition’s support for organ and tissue donation can inspire others and create a ripple effect of compassion and generosity that saves lives.
Celebrate Faith and Hope month
Faith and Hope Month in November is a time to celebrate the power of faith and generosity in promoting organ and tissue donation.
Our Interfaith Advisory Council represents many religions, including Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism. The Council works with Gift of Hope staff to identify new opportunities and education offerings that support the diverse needs of the families and communities we serve.
