Stephen Leite provides leadership to Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network’s Quality and Medical Records departments. He leverages quality management, education and employee development to implement cross-functional solutions to deliver innovation and performance improvement across the organization. Leite also oversees process improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence, serves as Gift of Hope’s Safety Officer and supports corporate compliance as the back-up corporate compliance officer.   

Before joining Gift of Hope, Leite evaluated and managed quality and all regulatory processes at Vascular Transplant Services and International Health Management Associates, Inc. He is a trained emergency medical technician (EMT) and a phlebotomist. 

Leite is a certified professional in healthcare quality through the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), and certified quality auditor through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).  He has earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. 

Leite holds a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, and a master’s degree in health administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
