Janet Dominguez leads the Community Outreach Department’s efforts to engage communities in supporting organ donation and drawing attention to the need for community members to join the donor registry. Janet serves in the dual role of Director, Illinois Transplant Fund.

Janet is a well-versed marketing and public relations professional with 25 years of combined experience in corporate and not-profit communications, public relations and strategic multicultural marketing. She has a deep understanding of the unique dimensions of multicultural marketing and public relations and their value in integrated marketing and community relations. She has spent her career in devising, advancing and executing multicultural campaigns for Fortune 500 companies like Staples, Jewel-Osco, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois/Texas as well as Nuestro Queso, The Goodman Theater, The Shriners of America, The Chicago Bears, and The Chicago White Sox.

Janet cherishes her experience as a Latina woman living in the U.S. and is known and respected for what she brings to the community. Janet is an active member of her community and has served as past board member of RHYTHM, The Chicago Arts Orchestra, Alivio Medical Center and currently sits on the board of Access to Care.
